Use:
This amino acid is a precursor to many physiologically active compounds of serotonin, tryptamine, and nicotinic acid. Tryptophan is required for normal reproduction, for the growth of animal and dairy production. The drug is a white, crystalline substance containing not less than 70% of L-tryptophan.
